The Creation account and most of the Book of Genesis are Spiritual revelations for Physical dimensions that are
OUT OF THIS WORLD
The dichotomy of nature (physis) and grace (supernatural) dictates the Aristotelian Western Canon and its debates of certainty infecting Christianity, Judaism and Islam. Such pursuits continue the desire to unravel the mystery of the knowledge of good and evil and understand the image of God in mankind, a legitimate pursuit but filled with hubris concerning our reason as methodology or our vulnerability to fantasy. Thus, they are framed as dogma and presuppositions that have a strong tendency to distort and keep us in binary double-bind resulting debates based on presuppostions that demand a thorough rexamination, yet hold even tighter on Biblical authority, but understand the limitations of our interpretative methods.
The creation of Adam and Eve and the Fall must acknowledge the Hebrew ‘HaAdam’ as different from the 2nd Adam, the revelational beginning of the Hebrew Calendar, which began under 6000 years ago, the historical frame out of which Genesis finds footing. The first couple fell from Yetzirah to this Assiya (why is there an Asia?), and the Lord put ‘us’ into skins. Their offspring populated through verifiable lineages included Neanderthals, as confirmed by the fossil record and genetic mapping. Perhaps dating back 200,000 years, so that’s who they were, BUT ‘when’ or even ‘where’ did the first couple exist? Such a question taps into the heavens, our destination.
The Second Adam (the red one) and his ‘appointed’ Seth as ‘obedient righteous ones’ demonstrated spiritual re-creation, different from ‘HaAdam’ the father of Cain and Abel (tribes of people, perhaps Homo Sapiens (Cain) and Neanderthal (Abel) are all the representatives of ‘fratricide’; a foundation myth found in many cultures.
As revelation, this Adam in Gen. 4:25 was the father of a righteous lineage juxtaposed to the Nephilim (fallen and jealous ones) of HaAdam. The text should read “and ‘moreover’ not ‘again’ Adam knew his wife,” which reads like HaAdam and Havah. But the Hebrew says no such thing! Just look at the interlinear; here, HaAdam is not used, but this Adam is a different Adam and the father of Seth, a recreated Adam and is within our Lord's genealogy recorded in Luke. Sure, his previous descendants, Cain and Abel, are part of his lineage in Chapter 4, but what is going on here! Instead, its implications and the fact that Cain had many descendants or generations until verse 25 should make it clear the parents of Seth are not HaAdam and Eve! The seed of the women of Genesis 3:15 is simply a righteous one, not a literal one. However close this sounds, to the solution of sin as provided by Jesus of Nazareth born of Mary, the Christ; no denial of the proto-evangelium here.
After Babel, the Judeo-Arabic word for Nephilim is Jinn, which is etymologically linked to the word Genii from which the word Gentile is derived from which nationalisms emerge and their respective strongholds that serve powers and principalities under the prince of the power of the air, yet under HaShem’s sovereignty. This explains why Israel is spiritual and no longer a nation-state created by Zionism.
After the Exodus, revelation stands from an oral culture through the texts of the Tanakh and Septuigint (LXX) as the eternal Son WHO has elementally manifested the image of God. The meaning of Moshia (Savior and same root as Moses) differs from the root of David Moshiach (Anointed), which proceeds from “the Spirit hovering over the waters,” all the same in The Name, The Word, and the Angel of the Lord. Messiah Ben Joseph is a long, twisted tale of which we are still in the midst. Messiah Ben David will surprise most of those who claim Judaism, for it has yet to be revealed.
However, it is certainly something for the New Jerusalem, but to get their we must start living as his people that he is the ultimate Prophet, Priest and King NOW!
So, why could no good come out from Nazareth? The city of those scions from the house of David in the former Northern Kingdom who were part of the idolatry of their era. Yes, the Lord’s judgment came swiftly in the first temple period as it did for the second temple. The next temple is heavenly and we must help build it!
So what is going on in the New Testament? It is simply a collection of mishnaic (root word means repeat) texts and letters to teach and repeat. According to Judaism, our Lord submitted to John Baptist as an act of ‘kenosis,’ a gulah lechumrah. Jesus stepped down from Yichus A (Kohanim) from a Davidic /Levite family identification to Yichus B (Ger Toshav) to redeem the lost sheep in Yichus Gimel like the Mamzerim. So Jesus was not perfect! Yes, but only in his submission in lineage. Of course, no one has followed the Torah like Him, for he was G-d. But that would mean teshuvah (repentance), whereas Jesus did a Ger Toshav act in Baptism to ‘descend’ again through the gulah lechumrah for the lost sheep of Israel and Judah and the nations. He was then totally Jewish to the ‘letter of the law. He completed the Davidic role in His Matthew genealogy, differing from His ‘spiritual lineage’ in Luke.
Is He yet to come for the authentic presence of ethnic and cultural Jews that remain today? And what about the state of Israel? This question begs the ‘just’ physical dimension and has undoubtedly seemed elusive throughout the millennia, knowing the intense and often unjust persecution that has befallen those who practice Judaism and those of the gene pool who do not. Creation groans!
Therefore, what is clear from our current categories of Christian Theologies that relate to ‘end times’ eschatology is that they are not the ultimate presuppositions to frame the ‘physical dimension’ and current events. It must go to the story of Abraham and his initial offspring and how they mirror the ‘Sons of God’ in Genesis 6, which gets distorted by fantasy tales of giants and angel-human hybrids. Such fantasy tales are nothing new as preaching devices; thus, the Enochian Corpus.
Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, is the answer! But what is the question? We can know Him through the 66 books of the Bible, and this does not discredit Apocryphal and ‘non-canonical’ literature as pieces of evidence (including some sources from Rabbinical Judiasm) that leave the thinking up to us, for simplicity demands discovery.
Jesus is authentic Judaism and the Messiah (Saviour) for the nations as expressed in a broad sense throughout all Christianity and also hidden within Islam and indeed unrecognized to most BUT NOT ALL of those that observe His religion and make up a particular genetic lineage that should not be termed a race, nor any of today’s population, for we are all the human race who need a savior; and able to choose the obedience of faith presented in the New Testament.
